What we collect. Name, NRIC/FIN or passport number, date of birth, address, phone, email, driving licence details, and images of your identity and licence documents; the same for any additional driver; vehicle usage records, payment records, and records of communications with you.
Why. To verify your identity and driving entitlement; to prepare, administer, bill and enforce your rental agreement; to handle insurance and accident claims; to furnish driver particulars to the Traffic Police, LTA, URA, HDB and other authorities when required by law and to redirect their notices to you; to recover sums owed, including through debt-collection agents and legal advisers; and to comply with law.
Who we share it with. The companies in the A-Tec group named in your agreement's Schedule of Scheduled Companies; our insurers and their adjusters; the authorities named above; our debt-collection agents, lawyers and accountants; and IT service providers who host our systems under contract.
How long we keep it. For the life of your agreement and 7 years after it ends, for record and dispute purposes. Images of identity and licence documents are deleted 12 months after your last agreement with us ends.
Your rights. You may ask to access or correct your personal data, or withdraw consent (which may prevent us from continuing the hire), by contacting our Data Protection Officer, MELVIN, at info@atec.sg. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.
